LOOKING BACK OVER 10 YEARS!

Can you believe it? Ten years ago in the village of Gramothe there was only 1 crop each year, an old, broken down school that barely held & educated 19 children, no medical services, no potable water source, only candles to light their homes at night & 5 voodoo temples.

Today in the village of Gramothe there is a thriving Christian church with no voodoo temples in sight, a bustling school that is educating & feeding students from Preschool through high school, potable water lines throughout the village, 4 crops each year, solar lighting systems in homes & a medical clinic that services people from miles around & a plan in action for a hospital! Praise the Lord!
Though we recognize & give God the glory for all that has been done & all that will be done, we also recognize that it would not be possible without the help of many of our friends all across the United States & Canada. Your time, talents & treasures given have not been in vain. You have helped to build the village of Gramothe physically & spiritually all the while inspiring, igniting & sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ one life at a time, one village at a time. To you we say, "Thank you"!
To celebrate this special occasion, we have dug through pictures & are going to attempt to share some of them on this blog. They are in no certain order & we by far got everyone! Enjoy looking back & then moving forward with us! God bless you, & again, thank you!

GRAMOTHE CAFETERIA

The Gramothe school cafeteria has been in process of getting updated with new tile & shelves! The ladies working in the kitchen are delighted!
A great job done on the tile by the Gramothe tile crew & our friends from Canada who took time out of their bench building to construct some storage shelves.

In Haiti:

Johane Fethiere, Administrative Assistant

Johane has made an amazing difference in all that we are being able to do for student sponsors in Haiti. Growing up in Haiti, Johane is multi-lingual, she is well aware of her culture & she possesses the skills needed to administrate the office work here. Johane has a sincere heart for her people & she loves working with the children.

Willem & I are so blessed to have all of you who commit yourselves to help us accomplish the mission & vision of MTM in Haiti, but we are especially grateful for these 3 ladies who God has sent our way. Please join us in prayer that God would bless their efforts to serve in every way possible!
